Happy Thanksgiving! Sharing my first gift guide of 2020 today – a holiday gift guide for the clean beauty fan in your life! It’s 2020, which means that we NEED to be paying attention to the ingredients in the products that we are using & applying to ourselves, which is why I created this list to assist you in selecting something special & SAFE for the person in your life who adores all things beauty – hair, nails, skin & makeup! Each one of these items has my “clean” stamp of approval, meaning I have already used them & love them or would feel 100% comfortable using them, which is why they made it into the guide!
I have had the opportunity to discover & try some amazing beauty brands & products over this past year, and they have easily become some of my new favorites! I strived to include a little bit of everything in this list, at various price points, to help make shopping a breeze for you!
1. lilah b. glisten & glow skin illuminator
I just LOVE this Lilah B. Glisten & Glow Skin Illuminator! The creamy formula lends itself to a beautiful application & I found that I can easily control how much glow I want to put on my skin when applied with my fingers. I love using it as an eyeshadow as well!
2. bite beauty agave mini scrub + sleep duo
This limited edition Bite Beauty Agave Mini Scrub + Sleep Duo set combines two of my favorite products to gift together! Pair these two together and WOW, you’ll wake up with hydrated lips! I recommend only using the scrub weekly!
3. ilia limitless lash mascara
This ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara is seriously amazing. The applicator helps lengthen and separate your lashes to make them pop! Also, it doesn’t smudge easily which is another great perk!
4. wild spirit star fragrance discovery set
I love Wild Spirit & their mission! This Fragrance Discovery Set is perfect for anyone who loves fragrance & the sizes are ideal for those on the go as they can easily fit in a purse or makeup bag! My favorite scent is the Rosy Glow, which is created with the natural essential oils Pink Pepper, Rosemary, Vanilla, Jasmine & Cedarwood. All of their perfumes are formulated without parabens, sulphates, phthalates & dyes & are sustainably sourced, too, which I love! Oh, and this entire set is under $20!
5. lawless the little one eyeshadow palette
Lawless is easily one of my top favorite clean beauty brands, and this palette has SO many gorgeous colors! This little palette is a travel-friendly version of the original The One palette at a fraction of the price! There is also a new The Baby One Mini Palette that contains stunning rosy-hued browns & this is something that I have my eye on!
6. Beautycounter countermatch skincare collection
After the first day of implementing this Countermatch Collection, I noticed a major difference in my skin! And the best part? It’s been the leading factor in helping my combination skin stay hydrated & overall more radiant. Dry patches & dull skin have been ongoing problems for me since January! Beautycounter has incredible skincare, & I’d recommend this set to anyone! Plus, this collection is complete in gorgeous sustainable glass bottles – BC shows up for both people & the planet!
7. bite beauty changemaker skin-optimizing primer
Another product that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with from Bite Beauty, has been their Changemaker Skin-Optimizing Primer, which grips your foundation for flawless, lasting wear. I was really happy to switch over to a clean skin primer & instantly fell in love with this one!
8. Dazzle dry toxic free nail polish mini kit
As you may already know, nail polish is pretty toxic. Having said that, I am SO excited to be including toxic free nail polish into my life after years of wanting to make the switch. Dazzle Dry has a ton of beautiful shades, & they’ve created a system without a bunch of the harmful & toxic ingredients typically found in nail polishes. They have mini kits that come with a nail prep, base coat, top coat, revive, & a nail polish!
9. all bright c-serum + overnight resurfacing peel
The ultimate reliance duo! These are two of my favorite Beautycounter products by far! Use the All Bright C-Serum in the A.M. after cleansing for antioxidant protection. It brightens the skin, evens your skin tone & gives you an instant radiance boost! And then, the Overnight Resurfacing Peel – it has made such a huge difference in the quality of my skin! I remember trying a sample of this product & I swear it made a difference in one night – Ever since then I have been completely obsessed! It helps clear away dull skin cells by promoting cell turnover which helps with acne scars, texture issues, dark spots, melasma, even skin tone, & pore size! All you have to do it apply it before bed on clean skin, no “peeling” required & you don’t even have to wash it off! It is super gentle, yet effective, & great for all skin types! Like a facial in a bottle.
10. The innate life hair bundle
I have been using The Innate Life Hair Bundle & have totally fallen in love with their formulas! These products quickly became a staple in my routine.All 3 products within the bundle are beautiful, non-toxic, have the most gorgeous scents (but NO artificial/synthetic fragrance)! I have the “problematic” scalp bundle, but they also offer “normal” scalp bundle as well.
